Welcome to the Stop Harassment, End of Story! training program devoted to prevent workplace harassment in the cultural sector.

The following Terms of Use describe the rules that govern the use of the website. These conditions must be respected by anyone using the website.

1.  Definitions

Stop Harassment, End of Story! (hereinafter the “website”) is a website owned by Inis.

The term “Inis”, “us” or “our” refer to Inis, the website proprietor.

The term “User” or “You” refers to the person using the website, or to the company or organization for whom the person is using the website.

2.  Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By visiting or using the website, you expressly agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and to abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease using the website.

3.  Modification of the Terms of Use

Inis reserves the right to update and modify the website’s Terms of Use at any time. Updates and changes to these Terms of Use will be available at stopharassment.ca/privacy-policy. 5.  Certification in Harassment Prevention

If you wish to obtain the Harassment Prevention Certification, you will need to open an account on the website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with your account. You agree that you will be solely responsible for the activities undertaken through your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized activity, you agree to notify us at: unefoisdetrop@inis.qc.ca.

6.  Copyright and Trademarks

The website and all text, images, trademarks, logos and other content of the website, including, without limitation, the Stop Harassment, End of Story! logo, illustrations, text, graphics, photos, information, data, software code, audio files, video files, other files (hereinafter the “website content”) are the property of Inis, its partners or content providers, all of whom are protected by Canadian and International copyright laws. All website rights and content are expressly reserved and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without written permission by Inis.

All other trademarks, registered trademarks, product and company names, and logos displayed on the website are the property of their respective owners.

Inis is committed to safeguarding your online privacy.

Please read the following policy to understand what information is collected during the Stop Harassment, End of Story! training process, and how Inis safeguards your data.

We are committed to keeping your personal information in a secure environment and to never disclose your personal information to companies, organizations or third parties without your prior consent, except where required by law.

By visiting our website, you agree to the terms explained in the Privacy Policy.

1. Définitions

As part of this Privacy Policy, the term “Inis” includes all employees, board members, trainees, volunteers and consultants working with or for Inis (hereinafter “We”), all of whom are required by law or by contract to keep confidential any information, data or personal information obtained in the course of their work.

2. Personal information

By “personal information” we refer any information that relates to physical persons and which allows their identification.

We do not collect any personal information during the Harassment, End of Story! training process. The confidentiality of your identity is safeguarded throughout the training process.

However, if you wish to complete the Harassment Prevention Certification available at stopharassment.ca/certification, you will be asked to create an account. You will then need to provide information such as your first and last names, professional organization, membership number or business name, trade/skill and town.

This information is necessary to register and issue the Certification on your behalf. We may also use it to troubleshoot your account, perform administrative tasks, or communicate with you within the framework of the Certification.

3. Disclosure of personal information

If you register for the Harassment Prevention Certification available at stopharassment.ca/certification, your personal information, including the status of your Certification (successful or unsuccessful), may be shared with your professional association.

In certain cases, we may also disclose your personal information if we have reason to believe that sharing this information is necessary to identify, contact or prosecute anyone who violates the website’s Terms of Use, or who interferes (intentionally or unintentionally) with the rights of Inis, those of other users, or those of whoever could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose your personal information when we believe, in good faith, that such disclosure is required by law.

4. Anonymous and non-personal information

When you visit stopharassment.ca, anonymous and non-personal information may be collected for statistical purposes, notably by Google Analytics. This information may include the browser, type of device and operating system you are using, the number and duration of visits, the quantity of contents viewed, and your location.

Inis uses this information to analyze our website’s use, adapt the website to the needs of its visitors, improve the website’s performance and improve our marketing efforts. Inis may disclose such anonymous and non-personal information to third parties, e.g. partners or professional associations.

We also use web beacons and Internet tags to measure the impact of certain promotional campaigns. Web beacons and Internet tags are minuscule images placed on some of the pages of our website. When you access these pages, the web beacons provide non-personally identifiable notice of this action. Web beacons allow us to measure and improve our understanding of our visitors and to analyze their use of our website while providing a measure of our performance and the success of our promotions. Web beacons and Internet tags can be generated by Inis or provided by our marketing partners.
